This book's explanations of topics are clear and concise, but this book shines in its problems. The exercises in this book are interesting, challenging, and numerous. And this book is enormous, with 31 chapters covering everything from basic algebra to the calculus of variations to integral equations. Excellent resource for both learning and reference.

This is a terrific resource. I self-studied a lot of higher maths using this book, and it remains a handy reference. The chapters are well structured and easy to navigate, and, as an added benefit, I've found the exercises to be well varied requiring a good use of one's skills.

This is probably the best math methods book out there. This book contains all the basics on physics. From basic function analysis to most specific mathematics to many disciplines, like Quantum Mechanics
