Book is powerful in the most heartbreaking and breathtaking way. Kalanithi is quite obviously a genius -- with tremendous skill sets in both medicine and writing. This book altered my perspective. If you feel intimidated or frankly, terrified, at the thought of reading about death, I'd recommend this book. A++++++

You know, Sometimes there are books that demand be read because they are simply that important. His prose combined with his thoughts give way to an excellent examination into how he deals with his mortality. I can't even begin to tell you exactly what I loved about this book. Stop everything that you are doing and read this book. Listen to what Paul Kalanithi has to say about life and death. quick postage and arrived in perfect condition A++

When Breath Becomes Air leaves you Breathless and Speechless! This is a gorgeous book on death and loss and grieving - the subjects we all avoid talking about directly. Paul and Lucy Kalanithi have looked at all these aspects of life in the eye, walked right through them and I believe even come out on the other side. Incredible!

I found this to be a very thought provoking, resonant, difficult at times, and oh so human memoir. Very relatable for me, especially in parts that might not be so to other readers.
