Excellent book for explaining EMDR for beginners.
If you only get one book on EMDR as a therapist this should be the one.
Great book to reference after I was trained in this.
Have not had time to read it yet. I glanced at the information. it looks like it contains the information that I require.
My husband said that this book helped him with the class he took to learn EMDR. It was very helpful and useful.
This book is well worth the money. I took an EMDR Training and this book was required. This book can teach you so much about EMDR even if your not going to a training. Loved it!!!
Excellent as it comes from the founder herself.
So far love it. Understandable thorough well-organized not too wordy and CREDIBLE. I was a skeptic but I m becoming a fan.
The book for the class. Easy reas
As an EMDR consultant I refer to this book all the time. It s my bible. Also there are so many new insights and nuggets ( as I trained a while ago) that has improved my skills further. Excellent once again!
I would have bought paper back as would have been much cheaper no doubt. Standard emergency text though
This book is super dense and kind of difficult to get through. But it was necessary to read before I attended the training. I did learn quite a bit just give yourself time to get through it.
As a EMDR trained I think this book is an important part of my shelve. Yes the book helps practitioners to have a clear understanding about 8 stages of EMDR it is a book that is not complicated and easy to follow
I love using EMDR thus far. So different from talk therapy but an additional tool in my toolbox that really helps some clients. I m a substance use disorder specialist and I don t like the outdated language of substance abuse (DSM IV language- stigmatizing) used in this text. Otherwise I love it!
Excellent! The first chapter or two are difficult to get through but it is very helpful for clinicians to learn the material before or after training.
